Oita, the city of the “Big Eye”

Oita is a small town in southern Japan with about 480,000 inhabitants.

With its ultra-modern 40,000 seat stadium and its famous resealable dome, nicknamed “The Big Eye”, this stadium, built for the 2002 World Cup, is one of the most beautiful stadiums in the tournament. It has the chance to host no less than 5 matches of the competition including the two quarter-finals where the French Team but also England, Australia or Wales are likely to play!

For an event of this size, the few hotel and transport solutions are very busy and quickly saturated. For this reason, VPI made the first reservations almost 2 years ago to ensure adequate availability to the media.
